Albert Einstein Institution

Nonviolent action can defend a democracy. With the Albert Einstein Institution, we studied how Bolivians proved it in 2025, so others can learn from evidence.

Bolivia's 2025 elections showed the world that disciplined nonviolent action can defend a democracy under pressure. Through the Albert Einstein Institution, founded by Gene Sharp, the scholar who made nonviolent struggle a field of study, we financed a rigorous case study of how Bolivian civil society protected that vote. The findings now exist as a published report and a practical educational module, built so that civic movements facing similar tests elsewhere can learn from evidence rather than from memory.
